MegaJob has developed this Privacy Statement to explain how we may collect, retain, and process your Personal Data when you visit our Sites or use our Services. This Privacy Statement does not apply to online websites or services that we do not own or control.

Registration information

When you register to use our Services by establishing an Account, we will collect Personal Data as necessary to offer and fulfill the Services you request. We require you to provide us with your email and your customized password to establish an Account.

Transaction information

When you purchase the plan or credit package of MegaJob, we collect information about the transaction, including the payment amount, the correcponding plan or package, and the status of the transaction. This information collection does not extend to your payment information. The payment service on MegaJob is provided by Paypal. We do not collect your personal payment information.

Job searching information

When you use our Services, we will collect data as necessary to offer and fulfill the Services you request. We may require you to provide us with your resume, your target job postings, your target job posting URLs, your preference, and your additional requirements.

Service result information

When you use our Services, we will collect the results generated by our Services, for example, the cover letters.

Feedback & Contact information

When you use the Contact Us web form, we will collect data as necessary to response to your request or feedback. We require you to provide your first name, last name, email, and message. We will use these data to improve our Services and try to fix the problem that you are facing with.

3. What Personal Data We Do not Collect?

Payment Information

The payment service on MegaJob is provided by Paypal, including the Paypal account payment and credit card payment. Any information that is required during the payment is collected by Paypal, not MegaJob. We do not collect your personal payment information.

4. How Do We Retain Your Personal Data?

Your registration and transaction information will be retained to track our sales performance. Your job searching and service result information will only be retained temporarily, which means that we only retain you most recent job searching and service result information. You may request us to delete all your information after you request us to delete your account through Contact Us channel.

5. How Do We Process and Use Personal Data?

We may Process your information for the following reasons:

To operate the Sites and provide the Services, including to authenticate your access to an Account; provide Services for you; communicate with you about your Account, the Sites, the Services, or MegaJob.
To manage our business needs, such as monitoring, analyzing, and improving the Services and the Sites' performance and functionality.
To market to you about MegaJob products and Services. We may also Process your Personal Data to tailor the marketing content and certain Services or Site experiences to better match your interests on MegaJob. You have the option to unsubscribe from any MegaJob marketing content.
To comply with our obligations and to enforce the terms of our Sites and Services, including to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
To respond to your requests, for example to contact you about a question you submitted to us.

We do not share your Personal Data or other information about you unless required by law or you grant us with your consent.

We are not responsible for protecting any Personal Data that collected by third-party like Paypal.

Our Sites and Services are not directed to and should not be accessed by children under the age of majority. We do not knowingly collect information, including Personal Data, from minors or other individuals who are not legally able to use our Sites and Services. We and our third-party service providers store and Process your Personal Data outside of Canada, in the United States of America and elsewhere in the world. Account means a MegaJob member account.
Personal Data means personal information that can be associated with an identified or identifiable person. “Personal Data” can include name, email, customized password, payment amount, plan or package choices, status of transactions, resume, target job postings, job posting URLs, preference, additional requirements, and service results.
Process means any method or way that we use or handle Personal Data or sets of Personal Data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, and consultation, disclosure by transmission, disseminating or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction of Personal Data.
Services means any products, services, content, features, technologies, or functions, and all related websites, applications and services offered by MegaJob.
Sites means the websites, mobile apps, official social media platforms, or other online properties through which MegaJob offers the Services and which has posted or linked to this Privacy Statement.
